Baked Parmesan Trout Recipe
Ingredients.
4 trout fillets or whiting
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably plain)
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Baking Dish: Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Make the Topping: In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly combined.
Prepare the Trout: Pat the trout fillets dry with paper towels. Place them skin-side down in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle the lemon juice and olive oil over the fillets, ensuring they are coated evenly.
