Baked Parmesan Trout Recipe

Ingredients.

  • 4 trout fillets or whiting

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably plain)

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare the Baking Dish: Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  3. Make the Topping: In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly combined.

  4. Prepare the Trout: Pat the trout fillets dry with paper towels. Place them skin-side down in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle the lemon juice and olive oil over the fillets, ensuring they are coated evenly.
