How To Use Honey As A Growth (Rooting) Hormone

Honey works as a rooting hormone is due to the fact its antiseptic and anti-fungal properties. It's also a potent water absorbing material. Its properties help prevent infection and promote growth.

You will need:
Cuttings 5-7 inches in length
Clay pot
Potting Soil
Scissors
Honey

Directions:
Fill clay pot with potting soil and poke an amount of holes for each cutting into the soil.
Dip the cuttings in honey and place firmly into each hole of the soil. In about 2 weeks you should have roots.

Another method is as follows:
Boil 1 cup of water and add half a tablespoon of honey to it. Use this mixture after it cools down. This mixture can be stored in shade for 3 weeks in airtight bottle.
Soak the end of the cutting for 2-3 hours before planting it.
