Essential Oils are a wonderful natural pest deterrent for the home and garden. Add 1 drop of of essential oil to 2oz of water and a drop of dish soap. Not too much soap, you don't want it sudsy. The purpose of the soap is to help incorporate the essential oil with the water.

For a 16 oz spray bottle add 8 drops of essential oil. You can combine some of the oils such as Rosemary and Peppermint. The following oils help deter the listed pests below.

For the vegetable garden, spray the top and undersides of leaves once or twice a week. Always test first, spraying one or two leaves and waiting a day or two to see how the plant responds.
